Any Jane Austen fans?

Have you been watching Masterpiece Theatre's Complete Jane Austen? Post some reviews for us, please. The girls in our family are gathered on Sunday nights at their respective tv sets - eager to spot anachronisms and judge the relative merits of the different productions - we love Jane as she is presented for the 2008 audience!
Here's a mushy video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks8SRa7J7lA

i have really been enjoying the jane austen series! it's great to see these classics on screen. my only annoyance so far is i don't understand why the producers feel like they need to make her stories more modern. it seemed anachronistic to have the protagonists kiss in public, to have anne run up and down the street looking for her man (i seriously doubt she'd have done that), and to have all the ladies nearly falling out of their dresses. seriously, doesn't that look painful to anyone else? i also wish they would make the movies longer so that they can give more time to the character development that jane austen is so known and loved for. we were talking about mansfield park (which was on last night) and how someone might not know what was going on if they hadn't recently read the book and they certainly wouldn't appreciate the story as well. all said and done, i'll be watching next week. does anyone one have a favorite so far? my vote goes to northanger abbey.
